The Learning Zone

As we challenge our athletes, sons and daughters to work hard, to live pure, to lead with courage, and to honor their team let’s keep in mind that failures can lead to success if navigated correctly.  We want our athletes to improve on the ball field, but do we have that same goal for ourselves as coaches and parents.  Our athletes come to us as their coaches, teachers, and parents to help them improve at their sport and in their lives.  We all need to be constantly growing and learning from our failures and successes as well.  Have you ever felt that your were working hard but not improving? You're not alone. Eduardo Briceño reveals a simple way to think about getting better at the things you do, whether that's in your sport, work, parenting or creative hobbies. He shares some useful techniques so you can keep learning and always feel like you're moving forward.  Check out this Ted Talk at: https://www.ted.com/talks/eduardo_briceno_how_to_get_better_at_the_things_you_care_about
