Humility

I hope you all have had a great summer and are you are off to a great start of your fall seasons.  I wanted to share with you a story that I read in USA Today. Seattle Seahawks Head coach Pete Carroll had his team read the book “The Road to Character by David Brooks. David Brooks outlines 15 points he calls “The Humility Code,” with point No. 4 stating that “humility is an awareness that your individual talents alone are inadequate to the tasks that have been assigned to you.” Coach Carroll says “That’s what playing for one another means.”

I would translate Coach Carroll by saying “That’s what it means to Play as One!"
